Cookie policy
This website uses analytics cookies only with your consent.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They are often used to remember settings or to track how visitors use a website.
2. Cookies on this website
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use this website – for example which pages are viewed and for how long. Google Analytics is only switched on after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you click “Reject” or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set and no data are sent to Google.
_ga– distinguishes visitors – 2 years_ga_*– keeps the state of the visit – 2 years
Your choice (accept or reject) is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name dky-consent, so that we do not ask again on every page. This entry contains no personal data and is not sent to us.
3. Your choice and withdrawal
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
4. Content from other websites
Fonts and images are stored on our own server. The website does not embed maps, videos or social media plugins. The only external service is Google Analytics, which is loaded only with your consent. Google may also process data in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Some pages link to other websites, for example to scientific journals, PubMed or Instagram. These websites open only if you click the link, and their own cookie and privacy policies then apply.
5. Changes
If we change the tools we use, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again.
More information about how we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.
